Performing Group

Who Can Join

The Performing Group is open to all Lynn Panting Dance (LPD) students in Level 1 and above. It’s designed for dancers who want to take their training seriously, grow their performance skills, and work as part of a dedicated team.

What You’ll Experience

  • Dynamic Choreography & Performances
Learn fresh, inspiring routines and perform at community events to showcase your growth and artistry.

  • Professional Rehearsal Culture
Rehearsals emphasize focus, effort, and teamwork, helping dancers build skills and stage confidence.

  • Commitment & Dedication
Success in the group relies on consistent attendance, punctuality, and preparation.

  • Team Spirit & Respect
Bring enthusiasm, encourage your peers, and help foster a positive, supportive studio environment.

Rehearsal Schedule

  • Mondays, 4:30–6:00 PM (main rehearsal)

  • Wednesdays, 4:00–5:00 PM (as needed for small groups and soloists)

Dress Code

Please wear all black for rehearsals, and hair must be in a slick back pony, braid, or bun. This creates a unified look and keeps the focus on movement and expression.

Performance Commitment

Members are expected to participate in all scheduled performances. Dates will be shared in advance so families can plan ahead.

Communication

  • Check studio messages regularly for updates.

  • Notify us promptly of any unavoidable conflicts so we can plan together.

Accessibility

Joining the Performing Group is free of charge. We ask instead that families support the LPD Scholarship Fund, which provides opportunities for dancers who may not otherwise be able to participate. All donations are gratefully received, though we encourage contributions that reflect the value of this program.
